Havarti Dill Macaroni & Cheese

Evoking memories of comfort and ease, mac and cheese is one of those things we always return to for the same reasons. This creamy havarti dill adult mac & cheese recipe offers an elevated twist to a classic comfort dish while remaining just as quick and easy to make.

CHOOSING YOUR PASTA NOODLE

Ditalini pasta is commonly used in many dishes throughout Sicily. Translated as 'small thimbles', Ditalini is a great choice for soups and pasta salads. Clinging to the velvety, cheesy sauce, one of the best things about Ditalini pasta is that you can cram a lot into a single spoonful. Offering mouthfuls of cheesy goodness, Ditalini is a fantastic (might we even say far too unsung?) noodle choice for macaroni and cheese.

HAVARTI DILL SAUCE

What sets this mac and cheese apart from your ordinary run of the mill version is the sauce. While a typical mac and cheese recipe might feature gruyere or cheddar, this sauce highlights the buttery qualities of a delicious Havarti. Combined with fragrant and slightly sweet dill, this sauce offers surprise, elegance and simplicity in one simple spoonful.

PAIR WITH

Filling and savory, a bowlful of this Havarti Dill Mac & Cheese will certainly satisfy your tastebuds. Add a light crisp salad dressed with vinegar, salt and olive oil and a glass of cold mineral Etna Bianco and your tastebuds will experience a symphony of textures, flavors and joy.

We wouldn't be a good pasta company without having a recipe (or two) for an "adult" mac & cheese like this.
