How To Taste Olive Oil Like A Pro
Just like wine, tasting high quality olive oil like Bona Furtuna's oils should have a range of aromas and flavor profiles to discover.
Timelessly presented in an authentic wooden case, Riserva di Nonna Rosa is crafted on La Furtuna Estate during the fall harvest and released for the winter holidays. Rooted in tradition, quality and responsibility, our finest olive oil offers authentic flavor and body that are more than a millennium in the making.
Harvested from the nine oldest olive trees on La Furtuna Estate in the Sicani Mountian region, our Riserva di Nonna Rosa limited-edition olive oil honors Grandmother Rose, Bona Furtuna Co-Founder Steve Luczo’s grandmother, who once lived on the land where the farm is established today. Twisted and worn, our ancient olive trees have persevered for up to 1,500 years. By creating a luxury olive oil from only these trees, we pay our respects to the Sicilian heritage Bona Furtuna proudly represents.
The packaging and appearance of the olive oil is only surpassed by its wonderful taste. We opened it at a family gathering and it was one of the hits of the day. Definitely worth a try if you're an olive oil fan.
I love the smooth flavor and so far have only used this as a bread dip as well as for dressing a salad . I want to be able to taste it, not cook with it!

Thanks Robert!
Absolutely heavenly! Used this as a dipping oil and couldn't refill the dish fast enough. The finest olive oil I have ever had, and everyone agreed. Really added depth to entrees, and makes vegetables sing. Going to savor every last drop!
Jessica, thank you so much for trying our oil! We're pleased to hear the oil was a success for your gathering!
