Cowboy Café

Espresso Martinis are having a moment. Why make the decision between an after dinner espresso or a digestif when you can have them both combined into a delicious libation? We’re here for it. Coffee forward, sweet, creamy, bitter, strong, heavy, light; made with vodka, gin, rum or even bourbon; truly an espresso martini can be made to fit every preference. We partnered up with Wyoming Whiskey to combine their spicy rye-style whiskey and our floral Wildflower Honey to bring you an irresistible and complex espresso martini.

Makes 1 cocktail

▢ 1 1/2 oz Wyoming Whiskey Outrider
▢ 1/2 oz Amaro
▢ 1 1/2 oz freshly brewed espresso
▢ 1/2 oz Wildflower Honey simple syrup

  1. Make the wildflower simple syrup. Add ½ cup Wildflower Honey to a saucepot with ½ cup water and bring to a simmer. Stir until the honey is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  2. Brew a fresh espresso either using an espresso machine or your favorite instant espresso. Cool completely.
  3. Add Outryder, amaro, espresso and honey simple to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled. Strain into a coup glass to serve.
  4. Saluti!
