Sea Salt with a Floral Infusion

Irrigated with pure spring water, aromatic oregano flowers are hand harvested from the slopes of Monte Barrau and Monte Castro on La Furtuna Estate, air dried by the sweeping Mediterranean breeze and infused into pure 100% Sicilian Sea Salt. This floral oregano salt is perfect for finishing pasta and vegetable dishes alike.


Infused with Oregano Essential Oils

Only a few artisan salt producers remain in the world today, including Riserva Naturale Saline Di Trapani E Paceco in Western Sicily. Along the Mediterranean coastline, windmills dot the horizon in a representation of traditional irrigation practices, a fifth-generation producer harvests pure sea salt by hand, and white pyramids of freshly harvested sea salt wait to be dispatched. Love this salt...

I purchased a jar of this at Williams Sonoma store a few months ago. Discovered they no longer carried it so I was very happy to find I could order directly from the Bona Fortuna. This salt flavors everything so delicately. I use it on salads, fish, tomatoes, etc. It is a perfect finishing salt.

My addiction to Sicilian sea salt with oregano flowers

I use this for the world’s best garlic bread. Everyone raves about it. I add a generous amount of it to soft butter and garlic and grated Parmesan. I actually plan meals around it!

Amazing flavor l

Just thoroughly enjoyed this seasoning. Used it to season A Greek salad The salad was tomato, cucumber, Greek olives, Red onion, with olive oil and white wine vinegar... topped with feta cheese. Yum!
