Our organic spicy Arrabbiata sauce, using air-dried Calabrian chili peppers and Sicilian Corleonese tomatoes, is an easy way to add some heat to any dish. Give this spicy deconstructed eggplant parmesan a try! It's a house favorite and is guaranteed to impress!
A welcomed component to many traditional Sicilian meals, Calabrian peppers (also known as “little devils”) are aged on the vine to generate a more potent heat and fruitiness. Our spicy arrabbiata sauce is a zesty concoction made from plump Corleonese tomatoes, crushed Calabrian chili peppers, Trapani sea salt and estate-grown olive oil. Allow heat to radiate from the Calabrian chili peppers to find yourself hot and satisfied.
Light Up Your Senses
Our organic arrabbiata, which translates to ‘angry,’ will leave you feeling anything but that. Made with air-dried Calabrian chili peppers and soil-nourished Corleonese tomatoes, this sauce is ensured to turn up the heat and light up your senses. Arrabbiata sauce is traditional to many Sicilian dishes and can invigorate any pizza, pasta or ratatouille.
Great taste. A bit too spicy for my guest. I was fine with it but maybe a warning about ‘heat’ would be good. That said, I WILL buy again.
Thank you Sue- we're very pleased to hear you enjoyed the Arrabbiata!
I always have the oregano sauce on hand but decided to try the arrabbiata and was so glad I did. Great flavor NOT so spicy that it obscures the taste of the food. I used it with baked chicken. These products are outstanding quality. Had to make my olive oil subscription once a month instead of every other month. Was running low and don’t want to be without it.
Grazie mille, Marie! We couldn't agree more- the Arrabbiata is a wonderfully warm sauce without being overly spicy.
Bona Furtuna arrabbiata sauce truly has that homemade taste and texture. The flavor of the all natural ingredients come through with just enough kick to wake up your taste buds.
Thank you Stephen! We love the complexity of the Calabrian chili peppers- well-rounded and enough of a kick to warm things up.
