A Medley of La Furtuna’s Favorite Herbs
Aglio E Oglio is a minced medley of flavorful herbs harvested fresh from La Furtuna Estate. Hand picked from flourishing fields at the foot of Monte Castro and Monte Barrua, organic parsley, red garlic and Calabrian chili peppers are collected and air dried under the rays of the Sicilian sun. They are then combined to create our Aglio E Oglio Herb Blend, an irresistibly earthy and slightly spicy addition to your favorite dish.
Nice kick to this one!
We couldn't agree more, Jen! You don't need much of the Aglio E Oglio to really add some heat to a dish. Grazie!
Bought this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It's the perfect blend to add some flavor and piquant to any dish. I particularly like it on pizza.
We're glad you did too, Claire! The flavor is wonderful and depending on your tolerance for heat a little bit can go a long way with the Aglio E Oglio Blend.
Good for dressing and pasta not as good for bread dipping sauce
Incredible. I use this on everything from pasta, as a dipping spice with my oil, rubbed on lamb before grilling, i can't get enough.
Grazie Brian! We couldn't agree more- if you like some heat, our Aglio E Oglio Blend is a must-have!
This wa so perfect, it made an absolutely delicious pasta dish and it was incredibly easy. The spice mixture took all of the work out of the process and the result was a fabulous pasta dish that tasted like it had required much more labor. Can’t wait to make again. I also plan to use the spice in other ways, on vegetables, in salads, and maybe meatballs. Definitely in dipping oil.
Jeanne, that's wonderful to hear! The Aglio E Oglio blend is obviously great on pizza and pasta, but other customers have been discovering some new & exciting ways to use it such as on popcorn or in guacamole. Meatballs sound like they'd be delicious too!
