Every year after the olives have been picked, pressed, and bottled, it comes time to see how the most recent harvest measures up. Bona Furtuna and olive oil producers around the world submit their final product to internationally recognized blind tasting competitions to determine the best tasting EVOO. The competitions feature panels of experts that evaluate the olive oil based on taste and aroma.
We're proud to announce that Bona Furtuna had one of it's best olive harvests yet, taking home twenty-five tasting awards this year. We continue to assert ourselves as the best sustainable olive oil producer in Sicily, and one of the best in the world.
FORTE
Our newest extra virgin olive oil blend, Forte was a top winner at several competitions this year, winning a gold award at almost every competition it was entered in. This robust blend is quickly becoming one of our most popular offerings.

BIANCOLILLA CENTINARA
Once thought extinct, this single olive varietal was re-discovered by our Chief Scientist, Mimmo Pasquale. As the only commercial producer of the Biancolilla Centinara varietal, this has become a showcase EVOO for Bona Furtuna.
