Artisanal Sea Salt from Trapani

Only a few artisan salt producers remain in the world today, including Riserva Naturale Saline Di Trapani E Paceco in Western Sicily. Along the Mediterranean coastline, windmills dot the horizon in a representation of traditional irrigation practices, a fifth-generation producer harvests pure sea salt by hand, and white pyramids of freshly harvested Trapani sea salt wait to be dispatched.
