Pasta

Andarinos

1 review
The corkscrew twists of Andarinos pasta are handmade in the northern Sardinian town of Usini, where the secrets of this rare pasta have been passed down from generations of families. Our Sardinian Ancient Grain Andarinos are 100% organic, non-GMO, and dried under the Sardinian sun for robust flavor and texture.
$23.95

The handmade Andarinos are currently in the final stages of production. We expect to have this back in stock and available for sale by the first week of December.

Spirals Of Sardinia

With each careful twist of the unique spiraled Andarinos comes the story of a nonna and her nipotina, and the passage of generational wisdom, lore and amore. Traditionally served with su ghisadu, a regional sauce filled with the agrarian, rich flavors of lamb, pork, beef and mutton, the Andarinos offer an unparalleled journey to Sardinia. This is a pasta to savor, for you will never encounter the same bite twice.

From Sardinia, With Love

Bona Furtuna Ancient Grain Sardinian Pasta celebrates the rich history and traditions of the island of Sardinia. 100% organic, heirloom Karalis durum wheat is grown on the fertile island to create a unique pasta with the perfect elasticity and authentic al dente texture. The grain is ground, then shaped & hand twisted by the few remaining artisans that have learned the rare technique of this pasta used to celebrate special occasions.

Andarinos Pasta

I am not an especially experienced or talented cook. Making sauces is not a strong suit of mine and I tend to stay clear of pasta meals because of it. Trying this pasta has changed everything! The pasta stands out on its own! I think it made my sub par cream sauce taste amazing. I cannot wait to try other pasta from Bona Furtuna!

Magnifico! We're thrilled you found us Debbie, and that you enjoyed the Andarinos pasta. This special pasta is handmade in Sardinia, where only a handful of people still know how to make this traditional pasta shape. We hope you get to try some of our other pastas (and award-winning olive oils) too!
