Tumminia, Perciasacchi and Russello are sublime heirloom wheat grains that grow tall, develop strong elasticity and create an authentic al dente texture in each noodle. We have switched over all of our flour to heritage grains and had been searching for a pasta that fit the bill. This spaghetti is wonderful...cooks like “regular “ spaghetti but without that bloated full feeling that often comes with eating too much pasta.

As a gluten intolerant person, I can eat heritage grains just fine. This pasta is the best I’ve ever tasted!
Grazie Robin! We've heard this from a lot of our customers: the standard pastas found in the U.S. have modified grains that those with gluten sensitivities can't stomach, but heirloom grains like those found in our Sicilian pasta are perfectly fine and easy to digest. Buon appetito!

Love Bona Furtuna’s spaghetti. Thought I was insane paying $8 for a one pound box but as soon as i tasted it I felt I was back in Sicily. It’s depth and chewiness instantly outmatches the costliest pasta products in US stores. Will definitely buy again.
