A True Taste of Sicilian Heritage
Grown and bottled on La Furtuna Estate in the Sicani Mountain region, our Heritage Blend Sicilian extra virgin olive oil is one to remember. Persistent and harmonious, it hosts a soft flavor of fruity, golden notes with a nose of artichoke, green tomato and almond.
On the palate, this cold-extracted, high-quality olive oil is incredibly smooth and balanced with a medium spice. Take a teaspoon right out of the bottle, drizzle on a leafy salad, or pair with a Bona Furtuna Salt and Herb blend for an electrifying meat rub.
For the Bold
This bold and beautiful extra virgin olive oil greets you with the fiery essence of young, healthy olives and opens on your palate with flavors of tomato leaf, freshly cut green grass, and rich earthy soil, leaving you with a hint of white pepper in your throat and a refreshing emboldened state of mind. Experience the strength, endurance and vitality of Sicilian terroir within the sun-ripened skins of our olives.
Hints of Wild Flowers and Herbs
Crafted at a single source on La Furtuna Estate in the Sicani Mountain region, our Biancolilla Centinara 100% organic artisan olive oil hosts medium fluidity, with medium-green fruitiness and hints of wild herbs and dried flowers.
Offering powerfully balanced bitterness and pungency, this single-origin Italian olive oil shares the aroma of tomato, fresh grass, almond and artichoke.
Engage the Senses
Blessed by its hillside proximity to Monte Barraù in the Sicani Mountain region, Bona Furtuna premium Italian extra virgin olive oils are comprised of olive varieties that are native to Sicily. Handpicked from farm-grown trees, olives are immediately milled, where their oil is cold extracted and estate bottled within 24 hours.

Grazie mille Cherrlyn! We hope you're enjoying the olive oil!
They are all so wonderful for different things!
My favorite is the heritage bland, so light yet flavorful, works on everything, will be using as my daily. The other 2 I tried on meat and veggies
Magnifico Christopher! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying all of our award-winning olive oils!
I wish I had discovered Bona Furtuna years ago. Not only do they taste great like a fine wine, but I can't wait to share these with others. Just Devine!

Great Service | Quality Product (It's not only superb for your pasta dishes...)
Not only do I love using the extra ****** olive oils for my pasta dishes (including the Bona Furtuna organic spices), but I also use the oils as an important ingredient in my secret hand moisturizer for softer, smoother hands (2x a week) -- keeping them looking great! I only use high quality ingredients as I work with my hands doing loads of close up video work so this gives me an extra edge! You can also use the extra ****** olive oil on middle to the ends of your hair to moisturizes and condition and then shampoo to keep your hair silky smooth! Not all olive oils are the same in comparison!
Grazie mille Michelle! You're absolutely right- not all olive oils are the same! What a great additional use for the oils as well- thanks again for the feedback!
All delicious, and loaded with character
I am hard-pressed to choose a favorite olive oil. All have so much character, and are equally addictive. I particularly enjoy them for dipping with focaccia, and on simply prepared pasta; the flavors are distinctive, and I think best when allowed to stand out. It would be a little wasteful to use these oils in salad dressing or for sauteeing--they are just too good.
Thank you so much for your feedback Mary! We have a lot of pride in our organic olive oils and are very happy to hear that you're enjoying them all!
