Not all pestos are green. Pesto comes from the Italian word Pestare, meaning to grind. In Sicily, the most famous pesto is pesto allá trapanese, from the Mediterranean town of Trapani, Sicily. Adding tomatoes and swapping pine nuts for almonds, Sicilians took the pesto alla genovese and made a dish that's uniquely their own.
Instantly brightened by the presence of basil, this infused olive oil is smooth and delicate in texture, yet herbal and peppery on the palate. A balanced blend of flavors, this oil will coat your lips with the cheerful flavors of summer. Enjoy with fresh ricotta salata or over thin slices of fresh orange and strawberries.

This olive oil is excellent! Very light! I really enjoyed it on my salads!
Thank you so much for the feedback Linda! We hope you get to try some our incredible pastas in the future as well!
The infused oils have the flavor of FRESH basil, garlic, and chili pepper. The balsamic has a flavor so pleasurable that one can appreciate it alone. Who needs caprese?
Grazie mille Bonita! We love dipping fresh bread in the flavored oils. Maybe a little too much ;)
Added rich flavor to my sauce. My new secret ingredient!
