About Our Pasta Subscriptions

How does the Pasta Subscription work?

Our Pasta Subscriptions are prepaid for either 3 or 6 months. You will receive a delivery of 2 pastas and a recipe of the month for the duration of your subscription. You may also opt to add a sauce in each monthly delivery. The subscription will auto-cancel upon completion.

What is included in your Pasta Subscription?

Our Pasta Subscriptions feature a rotation of Bona Furtuna’s Ancient Grain Pasta with the option to include a sauce. Each month you’ll get 2 pasta boxes from our Ancient Grain Pasta collection. Along with the pastas, each delivery will include a pasta recipe created by our in-house chef highlighting our featured pastas.

What are the sauce options?

If you opt to include sauce, you will get a bottle of either our Pasta Sauce or Pesto with each monthly delivery.

Do you ship the fresh items needed for the recipes?

We do not ship any of the fresh items, only the Bona Furtuna pasta and optional pasta sauce that each monthly recipe is centered around.

I don’t have a lot of time, how long do the recipes take?

All of our recipes are targeted to be ready in 30 minutes, but there is an occasional recipe that may take longer. Our priority is to have beautiful Sicilian recipes that are simply delicious.

Can I give a subscription to someone as a gift?

Of course! Our Pasta Subscriptions make for the perfect gift for the pasta lover in your life. Remember to include a gift message on the Shopping Cart page before you checkout!

How do I order more than one subscription?

Our system currently only allows one shipping address per order.

If you have 2-3 subscriptions to order, it's easiest to checkout separately for each subscription.

If you have 4 or more subscriptions, send us an email with the following and we can create the orders for you and save you some time.

Billing & Shipping

I just purchased a subscription, when will I receive my first box?

Orders will ship out the next business day and then on the same day monthly for the remainder of the subscription. (ex. An order placed on March 20th will ship next business day and the following shipment will be scheduled for April 20th and so forth).

When will I be billed?

Pasta Subscriptions are billed all at once at the time of purchase for the duration of the subscription (either 3-month or 6-month).

Why doesn't my discount code work on Pasta Subscriptions?

Pasta Subscriptions are excluded from almost all discount code offers, unless noted otherwise. Our Subscriptions already offer products at a bundled discount and include free shipping.

How much is shipping?

Pasta Subscription boxes all have free standard shipping within the continental US. Shipping to HI/AK/Territories is $19.95.

What countries do you ship to?

We are currently shipping our subscription box to the United States only.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Both our 3-month and 6-month Pasta Subscription are pre-paid upfront. The subscription will automatically expire at the end of your subscription duration. There is nothing to cancel and you won’t be charged again.

How many servings are in one box of your pasta?

One box of our pasta typically includes 8-9 servings. Each subscription delivery will include 2 boxes of unique pasta shapes per delivery.

Are your subscription sets vegan or vegetarian-friendly?

Yes, all of our Pastas, Pasta Sauces, and Pestos are vegan with the exception of our Cuttlefish Ink Pastas. Vegan options are always presented to customers anytime a Cuttlefish Ink Pasta is included in the monthly rotation (which is only occasionally). Some of the recipes for the subscription may call for meat or cheese, but these can easily be substituted for a meat or cheese alternative.

Do you offer gluten-free options?

We unfortunately do not have gluten-free pasta currently. We do hear from customers with gluten sensitivities that our pastas are easier to digest due to their ancient heirloom wheat grain.
