Shag carpets, shades of browns and mustards, flared pants, and the soulful sound of Al Green singing "Let's Stay Together" flash through your head with the first whiff of nutty-sweet Amaretto liquor. Gaining its flavor from almonds, apricot or peach pits, the delightful spirit has been a popular addition to cocktails in the US since it first appeared on the scene in the 1960s. We've put together some of our favorite cocktails to make with Amaretto.
Pure Chocolatey Goodness
Just opening the bag sends a waft of the heady, chocolate aroma over you. Let the bitter-sweet chocolate biscotti crumble on your tongue and fill your mouth with the familiar and favorite flavor. Just when you think these biscotti from Italy couldn’t possibly get better, you’ll bite into a decadent chunk of pure, chocolatey goodness.
Taste of the Renaissance
Journey back to 14th century Tuscany; the emergence of the Renaissance, the time of da Vinci, Galileo, Machiavelli, and the birth of gourmet biscotti. The irresistible cookie quickly became heralded for its durability and longevity, much like the other innovative creations of its time. Baked not once, but twice, Italian biscotti were carried by travelers across the country, and tactfully dipped into coffees and Vin Santo to help soften their bite. Once you’ve tasted the buttery, crumbly, and perfectly balanced combination of savory toasted wheat and delicate sweetness in our biscotti, you might just feel the soft caress of the Italian sun on your face, and smell the mingling sweet scent of its rolling hills.
very good , can't wait to have again
The Double Chocolate Chunk is an absolute must have after a delicious meal. Have you tried it with ice cream yet? Personally, one of my favorites with vanilla bean.
Never thought a biscotti cookie could taste this good! It's like eating a brownie! My wife requires I have a box in the pantry at all times
Your wife is a smart lady, mangiamo!
I ordered the double chocolate for my husband as an early Father’s Day gift and he loves them. He raves about them to everyone and he is a true chocolate connoisseur. If he loves them as much as he does they must be spectacular!
We are beyond happy to hear the Double Chocolate Chunk was a hit for your husband. Putting a little bit of cheese add a lot of flavor. If you haven't tried the Candied Lemon Biscotti, they partner well with the Double Chocolate Chunk.
Great. I hope it is part of the regular offerings
Marvin, our Biscotti is here to stay! I am happy to hear that you have enjoyed it, the Lemon is my personal favorite.
