Not all pestos are green. Pesto comes from the Italian word Pestare, meaning to grind. In Sicily, the most famous pesto is pesto allá trapanese, from the Mediterranean town of Trapani, Sicily. Adding tomatoes and swapping pine nuts for almonds, Sicilians took the pesto alla genovese and made a dish that's uniquely their own.

With the addition of alliums, our Cacio e Pepe seasoning is packed with flavor. Black pepper bursts through the salty-savory body, while the sweet taste of onion and garlic carries on throughout. Added to your favorite pasta with a healthy dose of freshly grated pecorino, or used to season grilled chicken and fish, our Cacio e Pepe seasoning offers you a deliciously savory rendition of the historic dish.

I just got this for the first time and I’m hooked! Like all the products, the smell is intense and pure. I love this on veggies and on meat. Two thumbs up!
Meraviglioso! You said it- wonderful in homemade burgers as well (and obviously in the pasta dish of the same name)! Thank you for the feedback!
Great Roasted Potatoe
I cut my potatoes in wedges and popped them in a plastic bag. I added a little olive oil and this wonderful seasoning before roasting the wedges (no bag) in the oven for 30-40 minutes. They were wonderful!
Sounds delicious- great idea! Thanks for sharing with us, Lynn!
Yet another super product! I will be re-ordering soon.
